Abstract
⺠Bermuda grass cultivar, growing conditions, and management practices affect biomass yield. ⺠Many pretreatment techniques have been studied to improve the digestibility of Bermuda grass. ⺠Enzymatic hydrolysis has been optimized to maximize sugar yield and reduce enzyme cost. ⺠Fermentation has been extensively studied and effectively optimized for improved ethanol yield. ⺠Other energy applications of Bermuda grass include biogas generation and syngas production.
