Abstract
⺠Bioaugmentation to achieve P-removal in a nitrification/denitrification system. ⺠Two months of operation with biological P-removal in a PAO bioaugmented N/D system. ⺠The microbial community evolution was quantified using FISH with eight different probes. ⺠Anoxic/aerobic SBR configuration with PAO bioaugmentation allows P and N removal. ⺠A longer aerobic phase is required in the bioaugmented system to reduce rising.
