Abstract
⺠The novelty of this work is to study the oxidative stress in Blakeslea trispora. ⺠Enhanced aeration caused changes of the morphology of the microorganism. ⺠This morphological differentiation was associated with high oxidative stress. ⺠The high oxidative stress in fungus increased significantly the carotene production.
