Abstract
► We propose the swirling fluidized-bed combustor using a modified swirler. ► The combustor enables effective co-firing eucalyptus bark and rubberwood sawdust. ► We examine temperature and gas concentration profiles in the reactor. ► Combustion efficiency of 99.6% is achievable for the co-firing. ► Emissions of CO and NO from the combustor meet the national emission limits.
