Abstract
⸠The amidase of Bacillus sp. APB-6 shows good acyltransfer activity. ⸠Feeding N-methylacetamide into the production medium enhanced acyltransferase activity. ⸠This is the first report where DTT has been used in acyltransfer reaction. ⸠High molar conversion (93%) of amide to hydroxamates at 1 L scale was achieved.
