Abstract
- Novel bio-based polyols were synthesized from 5 different vegetable oils.
- Polyols structures varied due to the fatty acid profile of the starting oils.
- The utilization of these polyols for polyurethanes coating was demonstrated.
- These polyurethanes had high bio-based content.
- NuLin based polyurethanes had superior thermo-mechanical and mechanical properties.
