Abstract
A modified epoxy-amine adduct was prepared and was then emulsified in water, and was subsequently deposited on a cathode substrate at constant voltage (200Â V) or constant current (1Â mA/cm2) by the aid of a DC power supply. The cathode was made of different substrates such as bare steel, phosphated steel and aluminum. The results show that the film conductance was greatest on the aluminum substrate which was followed by bare steel and phosphated steel.
