Abstract
Consideration was given to simulation of the nonstationary flows in a complex configuration of gas transmission systems. Simulation is defined as a generalized solution of the initial boundary problem for nonlinear partial derivative equation with discontinuous coefficients describing the nonstationary distributions of pressures and flows in the system. General solution is defined by the finite-volume methods with the use of multigrid approximation. The proposed methods have no counterparts and urgent for solving the problems involved in scheduling the flows in gas transmission systems.
