Abstract
⺠We offer a review of the theory behind digital phase shifting interferometry based on linear systems theory. ⺠Easy to analyze graph on the frequency response, detuning, signal to noise ratio, and harmonics rejection are provided. ⺠Easy way to analyze and design phase shifting algorithms is provided.
