Abstract
► Holographical optical elements (HOEs) were used for design of electronic speckle pattern interferometer (ESPI). ► Reference beam phase modulation in a time average ESPI was implemented for vibration study. ► Phase modulation was implemented by modulating the laser diode drive current. ► Vibration phase and amplitude maps of a metal plate drive by a piezoactuator were obtained. ► Phase accuracy depends on object vibration amplitude.
