Abstract
⺠The modal property of an artificial wing was investigated by a non-contact measurement method. ⺠A high speed DIC method was successfully used to construct the mode shapes of the wing. ⺠The combination of DIC method and laser displacement sensor is very promising for modal analysis. ⺠The high speed DIC is useful to study the dynamic characteristics of insect wings.
