Abstract
⺠Lens distortions are investigated in digital image correlation experiments. ⺠Substantial improvement is achieved to determine strain gradients in fibre reinforced composites. ⺠Substantial impact is obtained for small strain fields. ⺠Strain accuracy below 200μm/m is achieved in non-optimized lab conditions. ⺠Comparison is done between single camera and stereo vision DIC.
