Abstract
⺠The ECAE almost completely changes the microstructure of the as-cast Zn-60Al alloy. ⺠The ECAE considerably improves fatigue performance of the as-cast Zn-60Al alloy. ⺠The fatigue properties of the ECAE processed Zn-60Al alloy vary with ECAE parameters. ⺠Basquin's law can be used to express the fatigue behavior of multi-pass ECAE alloy. ⺠The ECAE significantly changes the nature of the fracture characteristics.
