Abstract
The problem of the propagation of low-frequency harmonic waves in an elastic half-strip when they are excited from one end is considered. The conditions imposed on the external actions, satisfaction of which ensures that the principle part of the solution decays asymptotically, are formulated. The results obtained can be considered as an analogue of Saint-Venant's principle in the case of the low-frequency oscillations of a half-strip.
