Abstract
An exact solution of the axisymmetric problem of the theory of elasticity for a hollow circular cone, truncated by two spherical surfaces (the ends of the cone), taking into account the natural weight or temperature (the inhomogeneous Lamé equations) is given. The conditions of sliding clamping are satisfied on the conical surfaces, the stresses on one of the ends of the cone are specified, while the boundary conditions can be arbitrary on the other end.
