Abstract
► Machinability of an EBM sintered gamma titanium aluminide is discussed. ► Milling tests were performed with carbide tools. ► Effects of tool geometry modification and edge preparation are investigated. ► Effects of AlSiTiN and CrAlSiN nanostructured coatings are presented. ► Results in terms of tool wear, surface quality and chip morphology are discussed.
