Abstract
⺠AlMgSi1 alloy with high silicon content. ⺠Silicon additions reduced extrudability of the AlMgSi1 alloy. ⺠Extrusion pressure does not depend on silicon content. ⺠Particle stimulated nucleation of recrystallization. ⺠Mechanical properties of the silicon rich alloys are below those of the standard AlMgSi1 alloy.
