Abstract
The optimum parameters of brazing diffusion bonding for micro-nickel cylinders and SUS-316 stainless steel have been studied. Nickel base metal filler BNi-3 was introduced into the 0.05 mm bonding gap under 4 × 10−6 Torr vacuum at 1000 and 1050 °C to observe the microstructure, investigate the bonding strength and analyze the various elements in the interface. The experimental results showed that the bonding strength is directly proportional to the brazing time. Additionally, good bonding strength was achieved within 20 min at 1050 °C. This was found to be superior to the 80 kg/cm2 working pressure for the manufacturing of spinnerets. The optimal bonding parameters are established for spinneret bonding. This study put forward a reliable bounding technique to the artificial fiber and micro-manufacturing industries.
