Abstract
- This paper introduces a novel monolithic multi-degree of freedom flexure joint.
- This joint can be made using common planar manufacturing methods (i.e. wire EDM).
- Joints are elastomer filled to mitigate vibrations and provide axial support.
- Prototype joints made and evaluated for range of motion, stiffness, and vibration.
