Abstract
⺠A novel 3D vibration micro-CMM probe has been developed. ⺠The design, modelling, manufacture and assembly of this micro-probe are presented. ⺠The testing in two vibration directions are discussed in depth. ⺠The micro-probe successfully counteracts unwanted surface interaction forces. ⺠It is concluded that the micro-CMM probe operates as intended.
