Abstract
⺠This study deals with crack occurence in bending. ⺠Mechanical tests in tension, on straight and notched samples, and biaxial tension are performed. ⺠Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman parameters are identified from these tests. ⺠A relationship between the critical void volume fraction and crack onset in bending is established. ⺠The influence of ductile damage on the numerical simulation of the bending test is evidenced.
