Abstract
⺠Post-oxidation treatment reduces wear resistance of plasma nitrided sample. ⺠Post-oxidation treatment increases corrosion resistance of plasma nitrided sample. ⺠Post-oxidation treatment reduces the surface roughness of plasma nitrided sample. ⺠The amount of S-phase decreases as the post-oxidation temperature increases. ⺠Increasing oxidation temperature decreases corrosion resistance of oxidized samples.
