Abstract
⺠Friction and wear of electroless Ni-B coatings are optimized by Taguchi approach. ⺠Concentration of reducing agent has the maximum contribution on friction and wear. ⺠Interaction of bath temperature and nickel concentration has some contribution. ⺠The wear mechanism is found to be abrasive in nature.
