Abstract
Fokker-Planck model of evolution of the high-speed charged-particle beam in a plasma, held with strong magnetic field, is treated in the paper. An algorithm of reduction of this problem to 2D is suggested. In so doing, the symmetry of this problem is exploited and the fast-variable averaging method is applied.
