Abstract
To predict photoelectric current by voltage, intensity and frequency of incident light is a crucial method for understanding the physical properties of photoelectric effect and devices. In according with the Fermi-Dirac distribution and photoelectric equation proposed by Einstein, a typical numerical method is pursed step by step to quantitatively analyze the voltage-dependent photoelectric current. The simulations agree very well with the observed spectra. The second objective of this work was to find out the mathematical relationships between the intensity of incident light and both the reverse saturation current and the forward saturation current. Based on the calculated results from the non-linear curve fitting method, the intensity of light-dependent the reverse saturation current and the forward saturation current are theoretically explained successfully via two functions. The minimum correlation coefficient between the actual and calculated data is 0.998. Besides, the contribution of frequency to photoelectric current is found via mathematical method. To my knowledge, the effects of the voltage, intensity and frequency of light on the photoelectric current are quantitatively discussed for the first time.
