Abstract
The glass particle size dependence of luminescence and optical characteristics were investigated for low-temperature Ce3+:YAG (LT-CeYDG) on high-power phosphor-converted white LEDs. With transition temperature 567 °C of low-temperature glass powder, 4 wt.% LT-CeYDG doped sample held phosphor particle distribution uniformity and quantum efficiency 85% and 34.5%, respectively, better than those of silicone counterparts in addition to improved thermal stability and durability.
