Abstract
The enhanced transmission spectra governed by the assemble of the gold nanoparticles and the polarization of incident light are investigated. Different arrangements of nanoparticles which are on the triangular lattice and on square lattice are considered. The results show that the transmission spectrum intensity increases oscillatorily with the increase of separation distance, especially in the case of 45° polarization and arrangement on the triangular lattice. The case of more layers is also investigated, and the results show that the width of transmission spectral line is narrowed and its peak is split.
