Abstract
► AuNPs@MWCNTs nanocomposites had more excellent electrical conductivity to promote the electron transfer and increase ECL responses of luminol-H2O2. ► AuNPs@MWCNTs nanocomposites possessed larger surface areas and more active sites to immobilize large amounts of GOD and Ab2. ► The attached GOD kept good biological activity and exhibited efficient catalysis towards glucose to in situ generate H2O2 as coreactant and enhance ECL responses of luminol. ► The proposed immunosensor had excellent performance for the detection of AFP with satisfying stability, sensitivity, selectivity and simplicity.
