Abstract
⺠Reduction of NaAuCl4 by the hybrid of glucose oxidase and anilineboronic acid yields a polymeric bionanocomposite. ⺠Small-sized Au (sub) nanostructures can form near/on the enzyme molecule to promote the electron transfer of enzymatic reaction. ⺠The thus-fabricated enzyme electrode worked very well in the first-/second generation biosensing modes and as a bioanode in a biofuel cell.
