Abstract
⺠Food or food products are the potent transmitting agent of more than 250 known diseases. ⺠An exciting modern era alternative research has focused on the development of rapid, competent, and reliable biological sensors for the detection of pathogens. ⺠In this overview, we have concentrated specifically on microbe-based biosensor methods for food borne pathogen detection. ⺠The article presents foreseeable future trends in biosensor research activities against bioterrorism of food.
