Abstract
The article objective is to raise the main lines for quality control in artificial ventilation in order to: 1) insure the quality and the security of care delivered to the patients; 2) satisfy the authorized requirements, in order to make them evolve. The entire survey rests on the patient physiological criteria's with a particular focus about the patient's comfort and survival compatibility conditions. A bibliographic research and staffing with physicians and physiologists permitted to deduct: 1) a physiological load notebook in terms of respiratory quality care: to ensure vital needs; 2) a clinical load notebook: to ensure the quality and the safety of ventilation; 3) a technical load notebook: Showing the good communication between the needs expressed by the doctors and the technological industrial answers. In order to maintain artificial ventilation performances, maintenances of the quality control are achieved periodically. This hierarchical proposal of control points to check during a preventive maintenance and a quality control in ventilation is proposed. The technical and organizational solutions proposed in the process of the maintenance and quality control permits to insure the patient's security and quality of care.
