Abstract
Conclusion. - The numerical and histomorphometric correlations have been very satisfying in consideration of the complexity of mechanobiological phenomena. The model permitted to predict heterogeneous healing generally preceding the implant loosening. Now, the impact evaluation of clinical relevant parameters such as growth factor concentration and operative settings (drill hole) can be study to improve the long-term survival of the arthroplasty.
