Abstract
Regional studies have been conducted on loess deposits, cohesive sands, and loess-like neoformations in the technogenesis zones in southeast Siberia. Cryogenic processes and distribution of geological formations have been ascribed to influential factors of loess lithogenesis. The processes of loess formation are active in the present environment.
