Abstract
⺠Symmetrical stenoses in carotid artery under unsteady flows are investigated numerically. ⺠The rheology models, Newtonian and non-Newtonian viscosity models are studied. ⺠The effects of pulsation and stenosis intensity of the floe characteristic are discussed.. ⺠Recirculation regions with low shear rates appear during a cardiac cycle are considered.
