Abstract
⺠We invent a pressure-equivalent approach to derive 3D muscle properties from 1D data. ⺠This new approach is compared to the traditional force-equivalent approach. ⺠The comparison is conducted analytically as well as numerically. ⺠In the context of hydrostat modeling, the new approach performs superior.
