Abstract
⺠Gender differences are identified in the framework of ultimatum game experiments. ⺠Females make lower offers and are more likely to reject a given offer. ⺠Female players are found, as usual, to be more risk averse than males. ⺠Risk attitude differences cannot explain gender differences in the ultimatum game.
