Abstract
This research relates to the analysis of drawings carried out by two groups of 23 Cuban and French children old from nine to ten years. We wondered about the influence of the sociocultural aspects in children's drawings. In Cuba the family bonds are very strong and the education system is dominated by Marxist-Leninists values. According to our assumption, this specific context influences the contents of Cuban children's drawings. The results make it possible to highlight the politization of the Cuban child and to observe the reduction in emotional relations within the family in France. This comparative study with France enables us to show that the child's drawing is an invaluable tool for the sociocultural comprehension of a country.
