Abstract
Therapeutic alliance is composed of technical and relational items. The principles to apply the theory involve a modification of technical elements of the theory and also a progressive improvement as well as an elaboration of the bond component of the alliance. This progression reflects the approach by which the therapist enters in the system of the client, becomes a part of it and eventually leaves it. Besides, the quality of the alliance varies following the steps of the therapy. A questioning of the alliance may happen in any moment and becomes a focal point in the relation among the systems of the therapist and those of the client. In this article, we firstly highlight the progression of the attachment in the alliance. Then, we discuss about the training of the attachment. Moreover, we also discuss of the general approaches to create bonds and of the specific procedures for each problem-maintenance structure.
