Abstract
⺠Using LCA, three classes of IDU young adults were identified in a sample of 274. ⺠Class 1 captured participants with the lowest risk across all indicators. ⺠Class 2 was socioeconomically disadvantaged with long episodes of homelessness. ⺠Class 3 had backgrounds of severe exposure to abuse/violence and family dysfunction. ⺠Identifying subgroups of IDU can inform the development of effective interventions.
