Abstract
⺠Individuals proceeding through a smoking cessation program experience significant sleep disturbance. ⺠Aspects of disturbed sleep, like drowsiness and insomnia, may hinder cessation efforts. ⺠Over 25% of women reported disturbed sleep before and during the smoking cessation program. ⺠None of the subjectively assessed sleep variables predicted who would relapse at 3 months post-quit.
