Abstract
⺠U.S.-Mexico border residence status and alcohol-related problems were examined. ⺠On the border, 18-29 year olds were more likely to have problems than older groups. ⺠Off the border, alcohol problems did not differ significantly by age. ⺠The final models showed no residence effect on problem likelihood. ⺠Drinking was strongly associated with problems.
