Abstract
⺠We examine the psychometric properties of the Disgust Emotion Scale for Children (DES-C). ⺠The DES-C demonstrates good reliability and validity. ⺠Psychometrics compare favorable with an alternative index of disgust sensitivity. ⺠The DES-C is the preferred scale for measuring disgust and its role in the pathogenesis of fear and anxiety in children.
