Abstract
⺠A meta-analysis of IRT and exposure-based interventions for nightmares was computed. ⺠High effects were found for nightmare frequency & nights per week with nightmares. ⺠Moderate effects were found for sleep quality, anxiety, and depression. ⺠Duration of exposure moderates several outcome measures. ⺠Dismantling studies are necessary to investigate the effective components of IRT.
