Abstract
⺠Imagery rescripting is a clinical intervention that aims to update distressing memories. ⺠We describe our imagery rescripting procedure of early traumatic memories in social phobia. ⺠The procedure consists of a cognitive restructuring component then 3 stages conducted in imagery.⺠Consideration is given to how and why imagery rescripting works. ⺠Potential problems and their solutions are also presented.
