Abstract
												Shame in somatic illnesses and disabilities has been mostly studied with a psychosocial approach. The aim of this paper is to study shame in somatic illnesses and disabilities with a psychodynamic approach. Shame is linked with injury to subjective identity. It concerns the patient, his family, the team and also the psychoanalyst.
