Abstract
ⶠMany PTSD factor structures fit adolescent data well. ⶠHigh inter-factor correlations are problematic. ⶠThe DSM-IV PTSD diagnosis may include symptoms that are not meaningful or accurate indicators of the disorder. ⶠThe DSM-IV PTSD diagnosis may exclude symptoms that would help to distinguish the most valid and reliable PTSD factor structure.
