Abstract
⺠We examined the relationship between BIS and BAS sensitivity and PTSS. ⺠We investigated EA as an intervening variable in these relationships. ⺠BIS and two subsystems of the BAS were related to PTSS. ⺠EA moderated the relationship between BIS sensitivity and PTSS. ⺠High EA and greater BIS sensitivity predicted an increase in PTSS severity.
