Abstract
â¶ Repeated cleaning did not impact on memory accuracy. â¶ Participant's memory confidence for the control items improved. Memory confidence for the repeatedly cleaned items was unchanged. â¶ Repeated cleaning did not change on confidence in the perceived cleanliness. â¶ Participants were no more likely to eat from repeated cleaned or control objects.
