Abstract
► We examine anger and dissociation among male Veterans presenting at a PSTD clinic. ► Anger and dissociation predicted avoidance/numbing and total PTSD symptom severity. ► Dissociation alone predicts intrusive and hyperarousal symptoms. ► 64% of our sample are above the clinical cut for anger for psychiatric populations. ► 21.5% of our sample are above the clinical cut for dissociation for PTSD samples.
