Abstract
⺠We examine anger superiority effects in controls and people with anxiety disorders. ⺠All participants detect anger faster and more accurately than happy faces. ⺠People with GAD and PD show enhanced detection of anger compared to controls. ⺠GAD shows different patterns of anger superiority to PD, depending on the context.
